The Ministry of Justice added to the list of individuals— foreign agents of rapper Morgenstern, and in the register of media-foreign agents— organization “Apology” and seven people, including associates of Alexei Navalny— oppositionists Vladimir Milov and Lyubov Sobol, follows from the registers of the Ministry of Justice.
The list of media-foreign agents also included the former chairman of the Union of Right Forces party; Leonid Gozman, Boris Kagarlitsky, professor at the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences, Mikhail Klimarev, executive director of the Internet Defense Society, and Natalia Baranova, a civil activist, and the former editor-in-chief of Oryol News Denis Konstantinov. In total, 158 legal entities and individuals have been included in the list of media-foreign agents.
The Ministry of Justice also added the Krasnodar Center for Contemporary Art “Typography” to the list of non-profit organizations that perform the functions of a foreign agent. As follows from the data on the center's website, it organizes exhibitions, research, educational projects, as well as the promotion of local artists.
Morgenstern became the fifth in the list of individuals-foreign agents, before that, journalists Yevgeny Kiselyov, Matvey Ganapolsky and Vladimir Kara-Murza, as well as opposition leader Leonid Volkov, were included in the corresponding register.
It follows from the registry data that Morgenstern was recognized as a foreign agent for carrying out political activities, for which he received funds from Yoola Labs Ltd. Yoola— YouTube's official partner network, which promotes bloggers, follows from the company's description on its website. It states that Yoola cooperates, among other things, with journalist Yuri Dud (recognized as a foreign media agent), as well as with bloggers Nikolai Sobolev, Sasha Spielberg and Maryana Ro.

“It will not affect my work in any way. Will I label my posts? If this is a way to avoid fines, then you will have to mark, & mdash; said Professor of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences Boris Kagarlitsky.
Leonid Gozman told RBC that he refers to the inclusion in the list of foreign agents as “wild stupidity”. “They assign this title not to those who receive money abroad, which I have never done, but to those who have a negative attitude towards the policies of President Putin and towards him personally, who want democracy in Russia. In this sense, I am in good company, there are very worthy people, & mdash; he said. Gozman added that, except for the need to put “this die” (with a note of inclusion in the register), his life will not change.
Currently, the Ministry of Justice maintains four lists of foreign agents— for NGOs, media, individuals and unregistered organizations. The draft law “On Control over the Activities of Persons Under Foreign Influence”, developed by members of the State Duma commission to investigate the facts of interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of Russia, provides for the emergence of a single list of foreign agents instead of several that currently exist. The document also provides for recognition as a foreign agent without foreign funding, if a person or organization is under “foreign influence”; by coercion or persuasion.
